Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wilkinson County Christian Academy walked away with it. They came out on top against the Briarfield Academy Rebels by a score of 6-1 on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on five straight.

Wilkinson County Christian Academy's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tucker Freeman, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Freeman is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Another was Easton Buteaux, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Wilkinson County Christian Academy pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Briarfield Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-7.

As of now, neither Wilkinson County Christian Academy nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
