West Union waltzed into their match on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ashland Blue Devils. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Thursday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: West Union took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9, 25-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Union to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taylor Leflore, who had 13 assists and one block. The dominant performance also gave Leflore a new career-high in kills (four). Another player making a difference was Mollie Reaves, who had seven aces.

West Union now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Ashland, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
