Basketball Game Preview: Fall Mountain Wildcats vs. Newport Tigers

Fall Mountain is 9-1 against Newport since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Fall Mountain Wildcats will be playing at home against the Newport Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Monday, Fall Mountain took their game with ease, bagging a 73-9 victory over Mascoma. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Newport humbled Campbell with a 59-14 victory.

Newport's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Fall Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-0.

Everything went Fall Mountain's way against Newport when the teams last played back in January, as Fall Mountain made off with a 43-22 win. Does Fall Mountain have another victory up their sleeve, or will Newport turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
