After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hampden, Cony was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the Edward Little Red Eddies 3-2. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Eddies, too.

Cony had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 14-25, 25-15, 25-20, 15-9.

Cony's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Edward Little, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 9-3.

Cony has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Nokomis on the 14th. As for Edward Little, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Deering on the 14th.
