Volleyball Recap: Cony Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hampden, Cony was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Edward Little Red Eddies. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Eddies, too.

Cony had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 14-25, 25-15, 25-20, 15-9.

Cony's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Edward Little, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

Looking ahead, Cony will challenge Nokomis at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edward Little, they will face off against Deering at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
