Precious Ntitebem and Eliah Mcclain secure win for DuVal

Recap: DuVal Tigers vs. Laurel Spartans

The DuVal Tigers had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Laurel by a score of 50-40 on Thursday. The victory was just what DuVal needed coming off of a 67-32 loss in their prior matchup.

DuVal was led to victory by Precious Ntitebem and Eliah Mcclain. Ntitebem dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Mcclain dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Mcclain has scored at least a third of DuVal's points.

DuVal's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Laurel, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

DuVal will challenge Wise at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Wise is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. Laurel will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against High Point on January 30th.
