Basketball Game Preview: St. Bernard Prep Saints vs. Addison Bulldogs

St. Bernard Prep is 2-8 against Addison since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The St. Bernard Prep Saints will host the Addison Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. St. Bernard Prep will be strutting in after a victory while Addison will be coming in after a defeat.

St. Bernard Prep will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Meek, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. St. Bernard Prep walked away with a 35-27 win over Meek on Tuesday. The 35-point effort marked the Saints' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Addison suffered their closest loss since November 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Lynn by a score of 34-31. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

St. Bernard Prep's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points per game. As for Addison, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
