 Oak Park-River Forest has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  challenge the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Oak Park-River Forest is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2  runs per game  this season.
 Last Thursday, Oak Park-River Forest earned  a  4-1 victory over Fenwick.
  Aria Hammerschmidt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up six Ks.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Elyssa Hasapis, who  went 1-for-2 with a  home run.  Sofia Ayala was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Nazareth Academy fell victim to Providence Catholic and their airtight pitching crew  on Saturday. They lost  9-0 to the Celtics. Nazareth Academy has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Oak Park-River Forest pushed their record up to 25-8 with that  win, which was their sixth straight  at home. As for Nazareth Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-17.
 Oak Park-River Forest took their  victory against Nazareth Academy  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2022 by a conclusive  13-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Oak Park-River Forest since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
