Football Game Recap: Hedgesville vs. James Wood

James Wood were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their matchup against Hedgesville on Friday. James Wood ended up on the wrong side of a painful 20-45 walloping at Hedgesville's hands. If James Wood were expecting to get some payback for the 23-28 defeat against Hedgesville the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.

The loss dropped James Wood's record to 2-3. The win bumped Hedgesville's record up to 4-1.

James Wood will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Liberty at Liberty High School (BE) in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable defeat. As for Hedgesville, they will face off against Preston. Hedgesville are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Preston are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
