Basketball Recap: Georgetown Takes a Loss

Georgetown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 61-50 to the East Clinton Astros. The G-Men were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Astros earlier this season, when they won 76-39.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for East Clinton, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 2-13 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will square off against Peebles at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for East Clinton, they will challenge Clermont Northeastern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
