Basketball Game Preview: Rogers Rams vs. Silas Rams

The Rogers Rams will face off against the Silas Rams at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Rogers knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 matchups -- so hopefully Silas likes a good challenge.

Rogers is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Sumner just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 67-58 to the Spartans. The Rams were down 55-35 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Rogers might have lost, but man, Treyshawn Weatherspoon was a machine: he went 7 of 17 on his way to 23 points in addition to eight boards and seven assists. That's the most rebounds Weatherspoon has posted since back in January of 2024. Ryan Avary was another key player, going 5 for 9 en route to 12 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Silas also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Lakes by a score of 67-58.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Silas, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 9-6.
