Soccer Recap: Jones Gets the Win

Jones won the last time they faced Santa Gertrudis Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Jones Trojans' defense stepped up to hand the Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions a 3-0 shutout. The Trojans' winning goal came courtesy of Aracely Garcia.

The win got Jones back to even at 3-3. As for Santa Gertrudis Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3-1.

Jones has already played their next match, an 8-1 victory against King on the 23rd. As for Santa Gertrudis Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on London at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
