It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Brendan can now relate to. They fell 5-0 to the Miami Springs Golden Hawks on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Alex Rizo was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

St. Brendan has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-15 record this season. As for Miami Springs, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 26-3.
