Basketball Game Preview: Delta Eagles vs. Hamilton Heights Huskies

The Delta Eagles will challenge the Hamilton Heights Huskies at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Delta is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Delta is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since November 22, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Mt. Vernon by a score of 55-52.

Meanwhile, Hamilton Heights ended up a good deal behind Heritage Christian on Thursday and lost 50-33. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Delta will have to keep a close watch on Katie Brown and Sarah Sherrill, a pair of players who had a big impact on Hamilton Heights' prior game. Brown went 5 for 11 on her way to 16 points, while Sherrill posted six points and five rebounds.

Hamilton Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

Delta was taken down by Hamilton Heights 46-16 in their previous meeting back in February of 2022.
