Basketball Recap: Donoho Comes Up Short

Donoho lost to Coosa Christian back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 51-50 to the Conquerors.

Coosa Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Samuel Reeves led the charge by putting up 22 points. Another player making a difference was Grayson Malone, who posted 13 points.

Donoho has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Coosa Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Donoho will venture away from home to challenge Munford at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Coosa Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Collinsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
