Basketball Recap: Napoleon Takes a Loss

Napoleon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Leslie Blackhawks and fell 55-24. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 436th, while the Blackhawks are ranked 76th).

Napoleon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Leslie, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Looking ahead, Napoleon will face off against East Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Leslie, they will square off against Michigan Center at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
