Softball Recap: Davenport Comes Up Short

Davenport and Viera squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Davenport had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 4-3.

Davenport now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Viera, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-9.

Davenport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Viera, they will take on Melbourne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
