Basketball Recap: Lone Peak's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

Lone Peak entered their match against Manhattan on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lone Peak Big Horns took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Manhattan Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Big Horns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-55 back in December of 2024.

Lone Peak's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-3. As for Manhattan, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Jefferson the next time they take the court. Manhattan will head out to face Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Lone Peak will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
