Soccer Recap: Coventry Takes a Loss

Coventry fell victim to East Providence and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Townies by a score of 1-0. Coventry have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Coventry's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-3. As for East Providence, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 10-1-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Coventry will face off against rival Scituate at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East Providence is set to square off against their familiar foe West Warwick at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
