Softball Recap: Beaverton Comes Up Short

Beaverton lost to Gladwin on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Beavers came up short against the Flying G's, falling 20-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Beaverton's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Gladwin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Beaverton will square off against Shepherd at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Beavers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bluejays have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Gladwin, they will face off against Ogemaw Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
