Volleyball Recap: Mt. Healthy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Oyler last Thursday, Mt. Healthy came back down to earth. The Fighting Owls fell 2-0 to the Middletown Middies on Saturday. If the Fighting Owls were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Middies when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-19.

Mt. Healthy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Middletown, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Mt. Healthy will square off against Princeton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Middletown, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Holy Cross on the 12th.
