Softball Game Recap: Shadow Creek Sharks vs. Dobie Longhorns

Shadow Creek lost against Dobie back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sharks wound up with the same score they had in their last game (12-11), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Shadow Creek has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.33 runs. As for Dobie, they pushed their record up to 13-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Shadow Creek will head out to square off against Pasadena Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mavericks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.58 runs per game on average), something the Sharks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Dobie, they will welcome Pearland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Longhorns will need to watch out since the Oilers have now posted at least ten runs in their last seven matchups.
