Basketball Recap: Interlake's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Interlake put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Newport - Bellevue Knights 48-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Saints also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2021.

Interlake's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Clark Tonnon, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds. Brady Didrickson was another key player, putting up three points, to go along with 13 rebounds and five assists.

Interlake's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Newport - Bellevue, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Interlake will welcome Ingraham at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newport - Bellevue, they will head out to square off against Cedarcrest at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Newport - Bellevue is facing Cedarcrest at the right time seeing as Cedarcrest is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
