Baseball Game Preview: May River Sharks vs. Bluffton Bobcats

For the second straight game, May River will face off against Bluffton. The Sharks will head out to challenge the Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. May River's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Bluffton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

May River will head out to face Bluffton after giving up their first home loss of the season on Wednesday. The Sharks fell 5-1 to the Bobcats. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Sharks couldn't push the score so high this time.

May River saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tysen Brasington, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Bluffton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for May River, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
