Newman Catholic waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Belmond-Klemme Broncos with a sharp 3-0 win. The Knights were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Broncos, so the Knights were just returning the favor.

While Newman Catholic won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19, 25-23.

Newman Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Belmond-Klemme, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
