Mason Brown turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Thursday. He struck out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.8 strikeouts per game.
