Volleyball Recap: Vanguard College Prep's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Vanguard College Prep had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Humphreys Able Charter Legacy 3-0 on Tuesday. The Lions not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 27th (when they won 3-0).

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-6, 25-10.

Maihlene Santiago had a dynamite game, getting 20 aces. Those 20 aces gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ingrid Rosas, who had six kills and six aces.

They weren't the only good server: Vanguard College Prep was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 38 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Vanguard College Prep's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Humphreys Able Charter, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.
