Volleyball Recap: Trinity Lutheran Comes Up Short

Trinity Lutheran lost against Southwood back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-19.

Rachel Bonde paced Trinity Lutheran's offense, picking up six kills. Bonde got some help from Bella Wehmiller and her 15 assists.

Trinity Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Southwood, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Trinity Lutheran and Southwood should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Cougars will square off against Mooresville Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (51 vs. 210). Meanwhile, Southwood (ranked 30th) will meet Rochester (ranked 248th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
