Soccer Recap: Firebaugh Takes a Loss

Firebaugh managed to keep up with Norwalk until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Firebaugh Falcons came up short against the Norwalk Lancers, falling 3-0. The loss leaves the Falcons without a win on the season.

Firebaugh's record now sits at 0-8-1. As for Norwalk, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-1-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Firebaugh will take on Dominguez at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dominguez will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Firebaugh surely won't give up without a fight. As for Norwalk, they will square off against La Mirada at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norwalk is facing La Mirada at the right time seeing as La Mirada is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
