Basketball Recap: Yorkville's Loss Ends 13-Game Winning Streak at Home

Yorkville entered their contest against Bolingbrook on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The matchup between the Yorkville Foxes and the Bolingbrook Raiders didn't end well, with the Yorkville Foxes falling 51-37. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Foxes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-47 back in December of 2024.

Yorkville's loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-8. As for Bolingbrook, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yorkville will square off against Minooka at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Minooka will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Yorkville surely won't give up without a fight. Bolingbrook has already played their next game (against Edison Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
