There's no place like home for Delta, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the New Castle Trojans by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Trojans back in September, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Delta had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-13, 25-16, 25-15.

Paislee Terry paced Delta's offense, picking up 16 kills. Terry got some help from Kate Manor and her 21 assists. Sophie Overholt controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, New Castle still got an impressive performance from Emily Luce, who had ten digs and two aces. Luce has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Delta is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season. As for New Castle, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season.

Delta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against South Adams on the 9th. As for New Castle, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Jay County on the 9th.
