Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Jacob Hitchcock stepped things up a notch to give River Ridge the 'W'. Hitchcock wasn't messing around, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The pitching appearance was his tenth straight with one or fewer earned runs.

Hitchcock's strong effort led River Ridge over Springstead and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
