Basketball Game Preview: Eisenhower Cadets vs. Wenatchee Panthers

The Eisenhower Cadets will head out on the road to take on the Wenatchee Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 78-43, which was the final score in Eisenhower's tilt against Roosevelt last Saturday. The Cadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Wenatchee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 74-54 to Kiona-Benton.

Wenatchee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Eisenhower, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Eisenhower was able to grind out a solid win over Wenatchee when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 73-64. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eisenhower since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
