Softball Recap: Conant Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Conant's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Monadnock Huskies on Friday. The Orioles have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Mackenzie MacFarland spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on 11 hits.

Conant's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Monadnock, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conant will challenge Fall Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Monadnock, they will host Brattleboro at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
