Basketball Recap: Goodland Takes a Loss

Goodland and Colby squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Goodland had to settle for second. They took a 34-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colby Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Cowboys in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Goodland's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7-1. As for Colby, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-2.

Goodland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Colby, they have already played their next contest, a 57-31 victory against Osage City on the 12th.
