Basketball Recap: Addison Beck's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Cherry Creek over Roosevelt + How To Watch

Cherry Creek was the 54-50 winner over Roosevelt when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bruins took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roughriders on Friday.

Several Bruins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addison Beck, who posted 14 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Natalia Baal, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 13 points.

Leading Roosevelt to victory were Kyla Lin Hollier and Ava Grosboll. Hollier dropped a double-double with 30 points and 19 boards, while Grosboll dropped a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. That's the most boards Hollier has posted since back in January.

Cherry Creek's record is now 0-2. As for Roosevelt, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Cherry Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-47 defeat against Fort Collins on the 13th. As for Roosevelt, they have also already played their next contest, a 67-32 loss against Windsor on the 13th.
