Soccer Recap: Golden Sierra Comes Up Short

Golden Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Destiny Christian Academy Lions. If the Grizzlies were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Golden Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Destiny Christian Academy, they moved to 1-3-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Golden Sierra and Esparto will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Destiny Christian Academy will take on El Camino in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
