Brighton came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Salem Rocks 35-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Brighton's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Salem, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Brighton is set to face off against their familiar foe Howell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bulldogs 12.6, the Highlanders 10.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Salem will challenge rival Plymouth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
