Basketball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast lost against Camanche back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Northeast Rebels lost 54-28 to the Camanche Indians.

Northeast's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Camanche, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Northeast and Camanche could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings. Northeast will face off against Monticello at 6:00 p.m. on Friday down 143 places (218 vs. 75). Similarly, Camanche (ranked 145th) will meet Maquoketa (ranked 20th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
