The Beaver Local Beavers will take on the Bellaire Big Reds at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Beaver Local is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.

Oak Glen hit Beaver Local with a four-run sixth inning last Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Beavers took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Bears. The loss continues a trend for the Beavers in their meetings with the Golden Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Beaver Local saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brylee Curtis, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Indian Creek hit Bellaire with a four-run seventh inning last Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Big Reds came up short against the Redskins, falling 11-4. The Big Reds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addison Kovach made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Beaver Local's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Bellaire, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Beaver Local couldn't quite get it done against Bellaire in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 9-6. Can the Beavers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
