Softball Recap: Green Bay Preble Extends Road Winning Streak to Nine

Green Bay Preble is still undefeated this season after their contest against West Bend West on Friday, but West Bend West came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Hornets came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Spartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hornets have posted since May 4, 2024.

Katie Geydoshek spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Hannah VonHaden, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Day, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.
