The Escambia Gators will take on the Pine Forest Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Escambia will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.

Escambia had a senior duo take command as Nino Freeman threw for 212 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt and Georqirous Moultrie rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns.
Escambia didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Adrian Battle, D Jaylan Benjamin, and Ladarian Clardy picked up one apiece. Meanwhile, a win for Pine Forest just wasn't in the cards on Thursday as the squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They lost 29-6 to Pace. The Eagles were down 23-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Escambia has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Pine Forest, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
