West Springfield extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Audrey Busch. The Spartans blew past the South County Stallions 3-0 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Busch, who had nine digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: West Springfield took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-13.
West Springfield's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for South County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.
