Basketball Game Preview: Del Rio Rams vs. Medina Valley Panthers

The Del Rio Rams will challenge the Medina Valley Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Del Rio's tournament run continued when they took on Wink last Friday. Del Rio was outmatched by Wink and fell 61-31. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Medina Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 30-26 heartbreaker at the hands of United South. While losing is never fun, Medina Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while United South is ranked 211th).

Del Rio now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Medina Valley, they now have a losing record at 13-14.
