Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pine Prairie). They never let the Ville Platte Bulldogs get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Pine Prairie's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ville Platte, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
