Baseball Game Preview: Dwyer Panthers vs. Viera Hawks

For the second straight game, Dwyer will face off against Viera. The Panthers will challenge the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Dwyer is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Viera by a score of 6-3.

Holt Flowers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Dwyer is 7-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 7-9 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Kole Griffin was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Colten Stephens, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Viera's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-10. As for Dwyer, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-11.
