Volleyball Recap: Aviation Starts Season with Win Against Grover Cleveland

Aviation had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Grover Cleveland Presidents, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Flyers have posted since April 8, 2024.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aviation will head out to challenge Bryant at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Grover Cleveland, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on Long Island City at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Grover Cleveland has now lost seven straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 8.
