Softball Game Preview: Kent-Meridian Royals vs. Beamer Titans

Kent-Meridian hasn't had much luck against Beamer recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Kent-Meridian is taking a road trip to take on Beamer at 4:00 p.m. Kent-Meridian has given up an average of 23 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kent-Meridian fell victim to Auburn Mountainview and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Lions, falling 22-0. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Beamer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-4 to Decatur.

Asialynn Solia made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Beamer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Kent-Meridian, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.

Kent-Meridian might still be hurting after the 28-6 defeat they got from Beamer in their previous meeting last Monday. Can Kent-Meridian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
