Millville waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Sayre Redskins get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. This was payback for the Quakers, who suffered a 4-1 loss the last time these two teams met.
Millville got a massive performance out of Gunner Sternhagen, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Chase Reynolds also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Millville hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sayre struck out eight times.
Millville's record is now 3-1. As for Sayre, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
