Soccer Recap: Moline Comes Up Short

Moline and Joliet West squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Moline had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Moline couldn't quite close it out.

Moline's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8-3. As for Joliet West, they pushed their record up to 11-10 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Moline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Joliet West, they will square off against Peoria Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Peoria Notre Dame's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Joliet West's offense will have their work cut out for them.
